Webshop built in shopify, for Meillä Kotona kaupat
Brand workshop, wireframes, visual concept and layout for shopify store.
Overview
Together with the team at Genero, we helped the client move to Shopify and renew the webshop. Meillä kotona kaupat is a shop selling unexpectedly wonderful things . I did visual workshops, wireframes and UI/UX design. The shop was launched in spring 2022. Such a fun and inspiring project!
Workshop & styletiles
After a kick off and client survey, we had a few workshops with the client. My part was to hold the visual/ brand part of the workshop done in Miro. We identified top three brand values and the brand personality among other things. With the help of different style tiles that I gathered, it was easy to agree on a certain look and feel and actually start the hands on work.
Wireframes
Together with the customer and the team we planned the service and I made different versions of the menu and wireframing versions of the most important pages.
Designing components
We needed to reach a common understanding of what we wanted the brand to look and feel like and agree on colors, fonts and elements. Through some more work together with the client, we could agree on a set of styles. I then gathered these into components and we we're ready for development.
Shopify editing
I also edited and tested a lot of the visuals in our Shopify theme in close co-operation with developers.
